Wee Pub Brunswick

"I worked here a few years back, like back when it was still McGarvy, and I hadn't been in since. My husband and I had the opportunity to go in a few weeks back and while the interior and exterior look much better, the atmosphere was tense and the food quality wasn't anything special. I understand it being a pub so I know the food isn't the main focus, but this place isn't somewhere we'd come back. Reminded me why we haven't been since I left. Ownership does make all the difference, and this place never holds onto anyone for long."

"Ordered a few apps, boneless wings and philly. Fries and onion rings were cooked on the outside but not the inside. Gross. Got the 12 boneless wings, only had 11. Lol.....my son got 12 BBQ boneless and she brought bone in. My son stared he wanted boneless so she took back the bone in....Waitress, Racquel said she would give us a discount.. drinks were pretty good but then the time she brought the ticket . That's when I realized it wasn't right.. yes our bill maybe have been 80$ if we didn't get any " discount" but if you look at my pictures uploaded to this comment, their "computer" IS CLEARLY OFF. I told them to use a calculator then and they wouldn't lol. They printed me 3 different tickets ,, non of them adding up to what it should. I WILL NOT BE BACK. THE FOOD ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH to have to deal with all that extra stuff from "staff". Needless to say we got free food but that's nothing to brag about here. If their total was correct nobody would of had any problem paying it. I'm not sure what the " manager " is on but she was slurring badly. And her daughter has a smart disrespectful mouth. Bad service. Bad food. And very dirty dining room."

"This looks like a really nice pub from the front. First let me say Tohsa our bartender was great. The other female bartender there was serving drinks to other people and drinking herself. She appeared to be drunk. It was wing day. We asked for our wings to be crispy. They were raw (see photo). Tohsa was incredible and did her best to fix things. Maybe it was just a bad day, but this was our experience."

"Fun pub atmosphere with good pub food choices and daily specials. We enjoyed listening to music, people watching (the clientele was surprisingly diverse) and having a beer on Wing Wednesday. Glad we stopped by!"

"We finally stopped in to try this place and it was disgusting. We waited 45 minutes to get our food and then after we got it, it was hardly warm and some of the lettuce was absolutely nasty. The waitress said “ we will give you a discount for waiting so long” the wait wasn’t the problem. The food was terrible Oh and for goodness sake let me say the discount they gave us took not even 2 dollars off. I don’t mind paying when the food was worth the wait but this was not the case. We will never revisit this place ever again."
