"You put a message on your website that says you cannot give quotes to register a vehicle over the phone. When I show up to register my vehicle you have a big sign on the door that says cash or check only, no debit or credit cards. A check is a much larger liability than running someone's debit card but that's beside the point. How do you expect us to know how much cash to show up with. I understand you have an ATM there, but what good does that do if I have to stand in line wait to find out how much it will be to register my vehicle then get out of line go wait at the ATM and then have to get back in line all over again? Is this just to inconvenience people or waste their time?"

"I purchased a new vehicle and went to get a tag for my car today. Guy at the front opens the door, and asks what I'm there for, as always has been done when I come to re-new my tags. When I tell him, he pulls me aside and tells me what 2 papers I need to have and asked me if I have them. I told him I have these 2 and it's what the dealership gave me and told me I needed along with proof of insurance switched over. (I honestly don't know what the dealership gave me, they just folded up 2 sheets and said this is what you need to do your tags.) He gets a aggravated tone and snatches a clip board of the wall and says if you don't have these 2 they are not going to process your tag. I'm unfolding the papers to show him what I have and it's the exact papers as what's on the clip board. He's already aggravated me by his tone and demeanor at this point so I say I told you I just have these, it's what they gave me! Then he proceeds to tell me to "okay thats it, and look, calm down"... And asked if I had proof of insurance and my license....Excuse you sir, maybe you shouldn't talk to females as if they are ignorant and in a rude manner. It doesn't take a lot to ask questions politely and non aggressively. I will give you back the same energy you give me. The lady at the desk that did my tag for me was nice and professional. As always never had an issue with anyone when I've come for any service the last 6 years. Except for this day today..Maybe rude guy at the front door needs to retire. I hope you have the day you deserve sir!"

"Renewed my tags. Dana was the employee who took care of me. In all my years of dealing with public employees, this was the best experience I've had. Dana was great, so polite and knowledgeable. Hats off to Lee County for having such a great person in that position. UPDATE: 4/18/24: Tag renewal again. Still a great experience. No problems. Very short line."
