"I’m staying at the beach for the weekend and played here on a whim. Here is why I liked playing at Aces And : 1. The people who worked there acted like they wanted me to play there. 2. The people that own it are way less tightly wound than your typical poker room management. So it kind of has a party vibe. It’s laid back and thats the kind of place I want to be in my free time. 3. The game, although a 1-2, is deep stack and total action. 4. When cashing out I left my kind of too expensive to lose Maui Jim sunglasses on the counter and when I called them the next day, they had set them aside for me. Thanks for the good time guys. I recommend people get their gamble on at this fine family establishment right in the heart of tony Hampton Beach."
"We stopped in this little casino last night. I don’t like the slot machines, but roulette is fun. When we were there, the minimum bet was only $5.00, which is perfect for me. It turns out the maximum is $25. The young man running it was patient with people and explained how things worked well. They had a blackjack table going, but it was full and there is something about playing blackjack and “aces & eights”, so I declined. I’m not big on gambling/throwing away my money, but it was a fun way to kill some time before going to a show at the nearby Casino Ballroom. Being from Connecticut and being honest, I can’t say this is a five star casino, but it was decent."
"I could NOT believe how unprofessional and rude the staff was. I stopped in on 6/30/24 to play some cards. They had 4 tables and only 2 were open. There were 4 or 5 dealers and a "pit boss". 2 of the dealers were running the tables and the others were leaning up against the tables or lounging around. One was even sprawled out at one table with her stuff in the seats. I went to one of the dealers and asked if they would be opening one of the tables, to which I got snapped at by the "pit boss" with an answer of no we're not. I went and played some slots while I waited for my husband who went to get something at another store. I could hear the bartender who was talking trash and acting like she was better than everyone. I've been to A LOT of casinos and I have NEVER seen such a horrible display from the employees. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE."
"This place is a joke of a casino. I feel like a bunch a random guys decided to open a casino and then work there. It’s so nonchalant that it seems completely unprofessional. No dealers there on a weekend for anything. Poker atlas even said you could play poker but no one was there to deal. No bartender on a weekend. Wonder if slot machines are even paying correctly. Hope someone is evaluating them properly."
"The first time we (total of 4of us) went there it was great. We drank, gambled table and slots, had fun. We (6 of us) went back, played slots but only blackjack was open, no roulette. Wasn't a bad time. Tonight 6-14-24, we (5 of us) went. 3 of us had ordered some drinks sat on the back deck and smoked cigars while the other two played slots. We were sitting on their deck, drinking drinks from them, an employee decided to lock the door on us at 11:30pm. We were like okay, thanks for telling us you're locking the door. Then about 10 minutes later another employee came and unlocked the door and said "I don't know why they locked the door on you guys". We then proceeded to go in the previously locked door intending on playing slots, and a worker at a full card table, of which it looked like he was playing at, NOT dealing said "I don't know how you even got in here the door was locked". My reply was the other worker unlocked it. I also asked him what time do you close? To which he looked dumbfounded by, and he said midnight. Which is funny because they locked the doors at 11:30 and their own website says 1am. We will never go back. The Brook, and the casino in dover are far better casinos."
