"I'm updating this review, now at age 75, because my recent DXA scan (bone density scan) showed astonishing results. After just one year of doing CrossFit my bone density increased 9% in my spine, 5.5% in my forearm and 1.8% in my hip. Here's my review from about 7 months ago: I started doing CrossFit at this gym at age 74, half a year ago, twice a week. I love this system which has all of us in class together but we each go at our own pace. There are substitute exercises for those who need them for one reason or another. I so enjoy being at this CrossFit gym that I don't watch the clock. Six weeks ago I started coming three times a week. I appreciate the changing variety of exercises and that we warm up and stretch at the beginning.The coach is encouraging and very watchful that we perform each exercise correctly --to gain the most benefit and avoid poor form. I get plenty of encouragement from other members too and wish I had known about this gym nine years ago when I first moved here. I am noticeably stronger than half a year ago and my aerobic capacity has definitely improved."
