"I previously owned a Dahon folding bike that served me well for many years. After doing my research online I chose a Montague Navigator as my new foldable bike. I can happily say it's been a great purchase! Full size, easy to fold and transport, comfortable and well made. Would I buy again? Yes. DETAILS. The purchase process was easy. In my case there was a few weeks wait for delivery as the container shipment was arriving from the west coast (Made in Vietnam). It was relatively strait forward to unbox and assemble. I did notice the wheels were not true out of the box. Not surprising after all the shipping travel. I did a smart thing and took the assembled bike over to my local bike shop before riding. For a modest charge ($70) he trued the wheels, adjusted the derailer and brakes and fine tuned everything. Worth every penny! I did add another seat (Cloud 9) and a water bottle holder."

"The folks at Montague Bikes do a great job. I primarily talked with Liza and she was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I made multiple phone calls to the company and every time I reached a real person. In this day and age that is truly amazing. The customer service that I received was outstanding. I purchased 2 Montague Navigators. Pre-order was placed in March and was notified when the bikes arrived at their facility, when the order was processed and when my credit card would be charged. Liza contacted me t let me know when the bikes would ship and confirmed that someone would be available to sign for the packages. Great communication throughout the entire process. Bikes were easy to assemble and required only minor tuning. From opening box to riding was about an hour for each bike. Very pleased with my purchase and the customer service I received."

"I pre ordered a bike from this company and got a confirmation email stating my order was confirmed. Then when the bikes are ready to ship they tell me that the price has gone up by 60 dollars. I've never dealt with a company that ups the price right before fulfilling my order. I cancelled my order with this company over this 60 dollars. Not because I couldn't afford it, but because of the principal that you would accept a pre order and then blindside your customer after they've waited multiple weeks for the product. This company is either shady and trying to pinch your pennies, or is disorganized and not prepared for retail sales. Either way I would not recommend them to anybody. Plus the actual gear that comes on their bikes is lackluster compared to other bikes in the price range (this is due to the increased cost of the folding technology of course)."
