"UPDATE!!!! Owner never reimbursed us as he said he would if I sent the address, and I did give it to them. First time here and last time. I got the fries rice and shrimp, they were generous with the shrimp and the oil they cooked rice in. Hubby got the gizzards and they were so tough he couldn't eat them, gave them to the dog. The were hot, so hot it melted holes all over the container, lifted container up and the seat had a layer of grease on it. There was a picture on window of a serving of Lima beans and rice. It looked delicious, BUT when I opened mine up to it did not look anything like the picture, my first bite was a bone. So disappointed! We will not go back."
"Traveling through town for work and stopped here for lunch with two others. We got a ten piece and fries. BEST CHICKEN I HAVE HAD IN A LOOONG TIME!!! Yes, it was that good. Really cool folks working there. We sat on the back porch and chomped down. I highly suggest stopping if your anywhere close by."
"My past experience at this establishment about 9 months ago was fairly good. However, my most recent visit was horrific, to say the least. Whomever the young man is that prepares the food is going to ruin the business. I ordered a 6-Piece Shrimp Dinner with Okra and Macaroni with Cheese. I received a 6 piece Chicken Dinner instead along with an odd-smelling Macaroni with Cheese and Fried Okra. I had purchased this order as take-out, so I didn't want to return to the establishment for an exchange as I live almost 45 minutes away. The chicken was salty as hell... extremely brackish. I immediately threw all of that away along with the sour Macaroni with Cheese. The okra was the only item that was edible. Disappointed is an understatement. I am absolutely flabbergasted at the 180 in food quality from 9 months ago."
