"I think the Acushnet Fire, Police, and EMT's are awesome!! I can't believe someone gave them a one-star rating! I want to thank them for all of their dedication and hard work!! My mother who lived in town has dementia, and she fell lots of times, plus had to have them come MULTIPLE times. The Fire, Police and EMT's ALWAYS came promptly when called, were ALWAYS VERY patient and understanding and great with my Mom, because she is pretty difficult. The Fire Department even came and pumped water out of my mother's cellar last year in March 2018 I believe. We had those big noreaster storms that knocked trees down and loads of people were without power for days. My Mom's sub pump stopped working. The basement flooded almost up to the boiler, and if it wasn't for their help, we would've been in even more trouble! Again, I want to thank them all.
