Welcome to Lakeville Town Hall, the heart of local governance in Lakeville, Massachusetts. Located at 346 Bedford Street, our city hall serves as the central hub for municipal operations and community engagement. Nestled in the picturesque Plymouth County, Lakeville boasts a rich history and stunning natural beauty, with its name derived from the expansive lakes covering approximately 4,000 acres within the township.

Established as an independent town from Middleborough on May 13, 1853, Lakeville spans 36.16 square miles and is home to a vibrant community of 10,602 residents as per the 2010 Census. Our Town Hall is dedicated to serving the needs of our citizens, providing essential services, and fostering community spirit.

We are currently seeking at-large members for two new subcommittees formed by the Select Board, inviting community members to participate in shaping our town's future. Stay informed about important announcements, such as the state's mosquito spraying plans for Worcester and Plymouth Counties, and upcoming infrastructure projects like the paving on the East Freetown end of Howland.
