"Embarrassingly bad police department. Primary objective is making up reasons to issue tickets to out-of-towners driving the speed limit and stopping at red lights. Great at ignoring actual crimes, but are fantastic at chasing people away from local businesses with made up traffic infractions."
"My daughter’s car stalled out on exit 58 off ramp of I-85 N so she called the police and Officer Viet responded in minutes. He pushed her car off to the side of the road and then stayed with her with lights flashing until the tow truck arrived so no one could rear end her as cars and trucks came off the interstate. I definitely appreciate his assistance and professionalism!"
"A few weeks ago I had an unfortunate situation where I was left in auburn Alabama by a person I had took a small trip with. I live in Atlanta, GA. I called emergency from the highway and a VERY NICE officer picked me up. He took me as far as he could due to jurisdictions and i was at the Buckeyes in Auburn. I scrambled on my phone, trying to see if anyone could make the 2 hour drive to come get me or if anyone could loan me for an uber. But then, my phone died. I felt so stranded because I didn't have money to buy a charger! And coincidentally, Cash App was having issues and the money my friend sent me I couldn't access. Finally, the buckeyes decided to call the police on me even though I was just peacefully waiting out there. But I guess because I was there for hours. The police officers that came were so nice. And I wish I had gotten their names so I could mention their names on here. but they took me down to the station, let me use a phone charger, and I waited for my ride there. they were just so nice and treated me like a human, didn't make me feel bad for my situation. Didn't talk condescending to me or anything. So I just wanted to say thank you so very much for getting me to safety and allowing me to safely wait there until my ride came."
"Thank you Auburn PD for protecting me when I couldn’t, and coming so promptly. I don’t know what could have happened if I didn’t call. I unfortunately only got Officer Moore’s name last night, but not the first policeman’s name I spoke to at The Standard. I will always remember y’all’s face if I happen to run into y’all again around town. Thank you for your service, and putting your life on the line for the community. Much love ❤️"
