Benton Lee's Steak House

"Went shortly after opening. Only customers in there at the time. Tables were sticky, grease smeared all over the transparent windows between booths. Drinks are self serve which is fine. My party had 3 steaks, medium rare, with fries. Order a baked potato and some fried shrimp on the side. Took over an hour to get our food. Told they were waiting on the baked potato to be done to bring it all out. When it arrived we asked if the rest of the food had been just sitting waiting, was told no. This was clearly a lie. The steaks were overcooked, tough. The fries tasted like burnt grease globs. The slaw was bland. The shrimps looked and tasted undercooked. They kindly took those off the ticket. However I don't believe we will ever return. 2/10 experience overall"

"Boy, I would have thought they would have been better. I know it's changed hands since the last time I was here. I just didn't know how bad it got. if I wanted to pay $40 per person for mediocre to food with zero service yet a great atmosphere, then I'll come back. however, when you hear the name Benton Lees, you expect it to be a lot better than it was. There was no service. you had to get your own silverware and drinks, yet they expected a tip to be given. it's just like everywhere else. Apparently, you do a lot of work as well as pay for the food, and they want a tip. I don't think I'll be back for quite a while if ever don't get me wrong the steak was okay for the money I'll stay home and cook my own I can Grill pretty damn good myself!"

"Me and my sister came here as kids with family and couldn't remember the taste. But remember the experience. It was wonderful!! Steak and fries were cooked fresh and hot. The salad was just like another salad lol Pictured: meduim sirloin"

"Honest review: Last time I had visited this place was 9 years ago. The food is so much better now!!! The steak, chicken tender, and frog legs was very good. Self served drink, which is cool. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. Location is kinda far out, but most cool places are. If you like honest reviews please hit the like and or follow button. Have a great day!!!"
