One of our key initiatives is the Freetown Community Electricity Aggregation (CEA) program, which offers residents and businesses vetted options for electricity supply while supporting renewable energy generation. Eversource remains responsible for delivering electricity, managing outages, and maintaining the grid infrastructure. Our CEA program, part of the largest Community Electricity Aggregation buying group in Massachusetts, empowers communities to collectively manage energy costs and consumption. "Living in Freetown since 2016, of which I've only gone to town hall a handful of times, to pay excise tax, inquire about beach sticker etc. one time however, I went in to ask about a tax abatement on one of my vehicles that exploded earlier in the year & the gentleman took me right in and we started diving into the whole thing. Turns out the registration was never canceled, which he was able to do right there. And he even provided some information on my property that I wasn't even aware of. Of those handful of times I've had to go to town hall, everyone has been pleasant to deal with and had helped with whatever I was there for. Thanks!"
