"Julie is an experienced masseur and it shows! I am a bigger woman with a knee injury and she addressed both of those concerns. The space is relaxing and comfortable from the front desk on. It is inside Norwell Athletic Club so I figured I'd be walking into a gym scene. Not at all. I was quickly transported to her calming space. Julie is warm and understanding and goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. She meets you "where you are" with the experience. The deep tissue is undeniably one of the best Ive had, always checking in to assess my comfort level. She has an advanced understanding of the body. Melting trigger points I didn't even know I had! Her care around the scar tissue around my knee didn't go unnoticed. I am sensitive to smells and she chooses oils & lotions that weren't overpowering. We talked about the importance of aftercare, staying hydrated and I definitely had an adrenal response after I got home. I felt calm and relaxed and honestly like my energy was more balanced.
