"My adult son has been a patient of Dr. Nathan Samuels at Atrius Health in Beverly for more than 3 years. Unfortunately, when Dr. Samuels is not available sometimes he is directed to see Dr. Walid Bader, DO, an Internal Medicine-Osteopath. Dr. Bader does not hide his blatant bias against patients with a history of prior drug addiction who are currently taking medication for chronic health conditions. Dr. Bader's indifference towards my son's health and his total disregard for his colleague's patients whom he is charged with in the absence of Dr. Samuels is unconscionable. Dr. Bader's contempt towards my son, a disabled man in his 40s, is palpable for all to see. Recently there was a mix up at the pharmacy, my son's Rx had lapsed, a fax was sent to his Doctor's office said the pharmacy but it was not received said the Doctor's office. Pregabalin is considered a control substance, the pharmacy could not issue a few pills to cover him until his doctor faxed in a new prescription, it was a holiday weekend to make matters worse. Pregabalin is prescribed for nerve damage, my son has been taking 300mg x2 daily for more than a year, it replaced Gabapentin that he was on for many years, and suddenly he is cut-off of his medication because Dr. Samuel is on vacation and Dr. Bader, who is covering for him, REFUSED to fax in a Rx for Pregabalin. My son waited a full day to receive a call-back from Dr. Bader that their office said he would receive, Bader neglected to return his call. Dr. Bader's lack of empathy for people who do not follow a holistic approach to wellness is beyond reckless, his refusal to act in good faith for the benefit of a patient's health and wellbeing could have dire consequences for the patients whom he abandons with bias. Take caution when choosing Dr. Bader as your clinician if you need real medical care he may not be the doctor for you."

"Several misdiagnosis, very difficult about getting refills without requiring an in person visit...during covid. I'm switching PCP and getting away from Atrius Health."
