"My mom had a right knee surgery and then went to Chestnut woods for couple weeks. It was our first time rehab experience so was not sure how it goes? PT - Pam, Kim and William are awesome and so are the nurses and doctors. Thanks to them for their help!"
"The place is a dump.Upon arriving the toilet and comode were filthy. I had to use the bathroom and have difficulty walking. When pressing the help button many times I got no response. When asking for something to drink I had to limp over to the front desk which had been left unateded."
"The administration staff were very compassionate and helpful. The nurses as well as the therapists were wonderful to my dad and very supportive to our family. My dad made many friends during his stay here."
"The nurses are socializing while the family visiting rooms have dried up food all over them that had to be a mess all day. Both toilets had dried up feces on them. They only allow patients to shower twice per week despite having accidents. Patients report staff never brought their dinner. A relative has filthy drawers they don't bother to clean. Staff rude to my preteen daughter because her brother has a disability and accused her of making noise she didn't make. They illegally told a disabled person they can't visit. This place is horrible."
"I can't thank the staff enough for all of their care and concern in regards to taking care of my Mom. Everyone has been so kind, caring and compassionate. The nursing staff is hard working, compassionate and efficient, i.e. shout out to Carole, Leah, Carla. I really love them all and I just can't remember everyone's name and I apologize but they know who they are and all of them deserve a raise. The health aides are amazing. They are kind and gentle. Shout out to Chauna, I think I may have spelled her name wrong, but they know who she is!!! She's the best! The PT staff is awesome, caring, efficient. Special shout out to Kimmie whose guidance and support has been amazing. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and kind. I'll miss seeing their smiling faces and believe me if you need someone to talk to vent to on your way in or out, they listen with a smile and a kind word. This has been one of the hardest times of my life. I would not have left my beloved Mom in this facility if she was not treated with the utmost respect. If you have a loved one that needs rehab, do not hesitate to send them here."
