"Dr Stephen Murphy left me feeling ashamed and humiliated as I struggle with severe pain and anxiety. He also said he wanted to start me on meds for hypertension. The prescription was never called in and when I called the office I was told that I had perfect blood pressure and he wasn’t going to give medication to someone with perfect blood pressure. I called back again and suggested that he might be thinking of another patient. Sure enough, I then got a prescription for BP meds. Good thing I didn’t stoke or have a heart attack while he didn’t even know who I was. Wouldn’t recommend him!"
"I moved and needed a new primary care and I was seen the next day due to a cancelation. Everyone in the office was so nice from check in to Dr Murphy himself! They'll take the time to get to know you there and make you feel at home. I would highly recommend Dr Murphy to anyone"
"Found head management Diane rude condescending and mean. Nurse rachett at her finest!!! Does not work easily with home health care takers!! Very combative and simply needs human skills. Lacks family's decision to hire who they found best to care for patients needs. Office claimed they didn't know how to file a formal complaint against Diane??"
"Had an appointment with doctor few weeks ago. Doctor was about half an hour late for my appointment to start with. I came to see him with worries that I might have thrombosis due to swollen,bruised leg.I was told to cut down on salt and as he wasn't sure about prognosis he sent me for an ultrasound which came clear. Few weeks later I received $500 bill as apparently insurance wouldn't cover it.Few mins doctor's visit and ultrasound which I didn't ask for came to $500 bill. I assumed it was a preventive care visit which has no deductible, but it ended up being a nightmare.I will not return nor my husband and we will not come for annual check ups neither. We will pick a different doctor who would not be late and who would inform us before sending us to hospital that insurance doesn't cover $500 ultrasound cost! I was not in pain, just worried and wanted to have a preventive care visit in case it was a thrombosis. Poor service and large bill which now I have no option , but to pay. I spoke to insurance company and they said that doctor billed them for non preventive care visit, hence this high cost. If they billed insurance as preventive care, it would cost me NOTHING, but doctor said it wasn't preventive so I have to pay this silly bill. After all this hassle when I finally had enough arguing with insurance and doctor's office I decided to give up and I called the office to pay the bill only to be told they were on lunch and would not be able to take payment until after lunch break so I had to call back again to make payment. What a mess, never again, find someone much better and willing to help rather than let you down. Very angry customer P.S. They don't even have a website or email contact, you need to call the office and get lucky so they are not on break and are actually there able to help."
