"This place is convenient for my health care needs. The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. Dr. Kawaja was very knowledgeable and very informative."
"I will be moving on from Dr. Khawaja. He actually made a claim during one of my visits that a second Dr did not corroborate. On top of that, he holds me hostage over two of the must un-abusable medications on Earth. He’s been making me come in almost 3-4x a year to get blood work done but then when I show up to the office he just keeps me on the same two prescriptions with absolutely no future plans or further prognosis. I have been absolutely swamped with 70 hour work weeks leading into the Red Sox seasons who I work for and it is a 13-day in a row stretch for us…..I have called their office and had CVS contact them to refill my prescriptions multiple times since January and he has absolutely ghosted me. I don’t have one single phone call or voicemail from them. So after paying HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of dollars out of pocket the last few years just to be told to keep taking my current medication, I’m now going to fully run out during a time period where I’ll have zero time to schedule appointments. The practice needs to look into this, take it seriously, and let this guy go. I can agree with other reviewers that his arrogance is off-putting but he’s the Dr. so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I can no longer do that because he’s putting my life at risk. And if he disagrees with that, then why is it so difficult to just refill my prescriptions?"
"I would not recommend this practice to anyone. My husband and I were being seen by the only good provider they had and she has since left the practice herself. They, Dr. Khawaja most particularly, discriminate against patients who require certain medications that they have been taking for 10 plus years based on personal bias. They do not treat their patients like people rather numbers that they refer to other specialists to create more revenue for the group instead of listening and following them based on issues that the patient has been diagnosed with, followed for, and medicated to keep the conditions stable. If you have any mental health issues, depression, anxiety or any other, they will not help you get the care or medications you need to help keep your condition stable, even if you've been taking the same regimen of medications for most of your life. Take the time to find a provider that will treat you like a person not dollar signs and not discriminated against because you need medications to control your health because they are personally discriminatory. I hope they will work to find a resolution to these issues for future patients."
"I had a fantastic experience with dr. Arsalan as my primary care doctor. His attentiveness, thoroughness, and genuine concern for my well being truly set them apart. He took the time to listen, answer my questions in an easily understandable manner. I appreciate the personalized care and professionalism, and I highly recommend him!"
"I have been living with undiagnosed autism and realized after having two kids who were diagnosed. They symptoms have been crippling me my whole life. I have self medicated in the past and was open about my history of addiction and that I have been clean for 10 years. The last doctor I saw in steward medical group, Dr Rabin, was just as dismissive and send me to go back to a neurologist (I have epilepsy). They neurologist sent me off saying autism wasn’t something the did there and I needed to see a neuropsychologist. So I went back to him for a referral and hoping to have some relief from the hypersensitivity that’s been crippling my life. It’s a 9 month wait to get into a neuropsychologist. He said I needed to see a neurologist- where I just came from. I came in there vulnerable, asking for help and they’ve been nothing but superior and dismissive. I asked about a non-controlled substance commonly used to treat hypersensitivity, high blood pressure and a number of other things. Im desperate- this is affecting my attendance at work and life and is crippling. The second I mentioned being in recovery they just all but laughed at me for requesting some sort of medication to treat the chronic, constant hypersensitivity. I keep getting passed around and no on in this group cares to help. This Doctor was rude to a point. Work on your bedside manner. Impressing your parents isn’t a good enough reason to become a doctor if you don’t also want to help people. :/"
