"I love giving my best as a Menopause consultant at the Fish Center. Come see how we can help you feel your best!"
"Disorganized mess. Takes over a week to hear back with patient portal, can't get a gastro appointment for over a year. Bringham and Women's is a terrible provider."
"I was 9 minutes late for an appointment. Traveled almost 2 hours with traffic and they cancelled my appointment. They don’t answer their phones to let them know you will be late. Don’t go here if you want to get sufficient care."
"Horrible experience. Waited for 9 months to be seen in this office. I have terrible menopause symptoms with serious anxiety, body shakes etc that I had to leave work from. None of my local doctors could understand what was happening. They sent me to this clinic where I saw Tara Iyer. I only ever had ONE online appointment with her and she was terribly egoic; spoke over me most of the time; insulted my one good doctor who did her best for me; prescribed me a duplicate prescription that I had already tried because she didn’t listen. She went on about herself being an “expert” when she isn’t even a GYN and can’t be more than 34. She also always misinterpreted anything I said and wrote. I wrote an update to my health needs after retrying the med she prescribed which, of course didn’t work and no one answered my call for help in two weeks time. I recalled the manager who looked into it. After a few days I received an online message to the portal saying that she supposedly had thought I canceled the relationship (yeah right) and that, in order to continue, I would first have to sign a patient behavior contract which inferred that I harassed her and demanded prescriptions that were beyond her license to prescribe? I was flabbergasted! I went here for help and the proof that I didn’t do what she lied about was in my notes. Two notes about the update of my health were skewed by her to be bad. She lied to her department bosses saying this is what happened. Called both patient relations, who said I didn’t have to sign it, and the office manager because this was true insanity. Iyer wrote that she would treat me only if I signed it, and completely held treatment over my head. My integrity wouldn’t allow me to do so because I wasn’t going to sign to something I hadn’t done. I reported complaints of mistreatment and the department apparently believed her lies. All this time I had to live day to day with no treatment of my health issues and was suffering. After reporting her again for holding treatment over my head, I got no response. Apparently they attempted to send a letter to me which I can only assume was something stating they weren’t going to see me anymore. At the worst possible time in my life, they gaslit, lied and stuck with her horrific ego. Was completely blown away. The department never even spoke to me. Do NOT see this doctor or the Fish Center because they don’t care about anyone, just being right.Brigham also only puts up reviews of her that are mainly 5 stars, as I didn’t see my 1 star survey amongst all the others. I even tried moving to the other doctor who’s “helping” out with patient load but they didn’t allow that either. It blows my mind because how many other women will suffer because she refuses to listen and misinterprets every note sent. That is super dangerous and a hospital liability, not to mention how unethical it is to hold treatment over a patient’s head, forcing them to sign something false in order to get it.She is the only menopause person they have right now so, for your own peace of mind go somewhere else. She knew nothing more than the local doctors I had, who she laughed at and dismissed in my appointment. How dare they treat patients like this. Please see Katheryn Martin menopause Endo at Mass General. She actually knows what she’s talking about. Your sanity depends on it."
"Admins canceled my primary care appointment because I was 10 minutes late and I had called to let them know and they said it would be fine. Doctor Rutter is clearly over worked and lacks empathy leading to her choice to not see me for my visit. After 4 calls with patient relations over the course of a month after this incident they still were not able to get my an appointment with ANY provider now even though I had booked this one last YEAR. The admins also lied and said I “didn’t want to be seen” in the documentation that patient relations saw. It is abundantly clear to me this is first and foremost a business and the care team doesn’t have the time or empathy I expect in a worthwhile provider. Have been to multiple specialists in this center and do not plan to go back. Absolutely disgusted with BWH. Not to mention they actually canceled my husbands appointment as well (booked a year in advance) the day before because of another admin error and patient relations did not get him an appointment either. 10/10 do not recommend."
