"Humiliating Experience I tried contacts for the first time and the initial doctor was very thoughtful, trying two different samples ($300). She retired before the follow-up, and when my 6-month supply of contacts arrived, they were different from the samples I had been wearing. Attempts to get information or fix this over the phone were unsuccessful. Visits to the office for the documentation led to extra charges (+$280). My first office visit was rushed and unhelpful, while another reviewed my history but reasoned the samples were not provided. I was given a new lens prescription and that made my vision blurry and told my expectations were too high. I've since confirmed with the vendor Alden exactly what was delivered but I've given up on trying to communicate with the people in this office as they are not receptive or kind. I've wasted a lot of time trying to identify the samples that worked best for me, was charged a lot, and left feeling unsatisfied and with eye strain headaches. The overall experience was frustrating and expensive."

"I've been using the Arlington branch for the last 6 months to get a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. Easily the most disorganized and slow eye office I've ever used. Had an allergic reaction to their dilating eye drops during the exam that almost made me pass out (used them for years at other places without issue, but what are they using here?!?!) Getting glasses takes several months and many follow up visits and calls. Appointments have to be made to order frames and are hard to schedule and their hours are narrower than regular business hours so you're guaranteed to have to leave work in the middle of the day just to order new glasses. I've had sunglasses delivered as glasses, glasses delivered to different branches...not bothering with them again after this."

"The staff is super RUDE! When we tried to make an appointment as new patients, they treated you as prisoners. Instead of helping you and introducing their services or products, they questioned your background, your social security number…which other eye stores will never ask."
