His distinguished training includes a surgical residency and fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2023, he further expanded his expertise as a Clinical Travelling Fellow with the International Cartilage Restoration & Joint Preservation Society (ICRS).

With a medical degree from the University of Chicago – Pritzker School of Medicine and a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, both earned with honors, Dr. Farina is well-versed in advanced surgical techniques. His skills include arthroscopic surgery, joint preservation surgery, cartilage restoration, and cutting-edge orthobiologic therapies like PRP and BMAC.
