"Christ the Rock is one of the most welcoming, caring churches I have ever attended. There's something for everyone and the Worship Team honors Jesus with every song. Pastor Rob does a great job with solid teaching from the Word of God and both he and Pastor Erica are approachable, helpful and understanding. I have met some of the nicest people there and although I've only been attending for less than 2 years I have already made some great friends. This church lifts up the name of Jesus, and each other. "The first time I visited Christ the Rock, one of the pastors came up to me and introduced themselves, which meant a lot. I've been at this church for approximately a year. The most important thing to me was that the Bible was taught and that sermons were not based on opinions or sugar coated the reality of walking with Christ. So far this criteria has been met. I've been able to ask the pastors questions both about the sermons and what I've been studying on my own. I really like that this church works on meeting the needs of the congregation, the local community, and missions and that I get to be a part of it. I like that a pastor is over every ministry, even worship. At times I have been amazed by the love of Christ that has been shown from the people(not just pastors and elders)towards me. It's encouraging to find people in my new home that are running their race towards Christ. I noticed that new English speaking visitors tend to come(I'm assuming accidentally, though worship is great) to the Portuguese service, so I'm going to through this out there: English service is at 0900, Portuguese Service 1130( or 1100, I can't remember). Bible study, youth group, and kids ministry are 7PM on Thursdays. There's women and men ministries that meet monthly. There's always seasonal activities going on. There's always food. I always tell my folks back home that I'm fed spiritually and physically. I just heard that there's a bowling league and I really want to join??!!"

"Christ the Rock has been home for my family and I for three years now and I couldn’t as for a better house or worship. Their music/worship team is amazing, Pastor Jack Silva speaks the word with emotion and a little comedy from time to time. Childrens ministry, Ignite youth ministry, Mens, Womens and Young adult all meet regularly to maintain the bond we all share with each other because of the Lord. Highly recommend a visit! You won’t regret it (both English and Portuguese services available with Thursday Bible study)."
