"Absolute worst facility I’ve ever encountered. Maids are completely uncaring and will not listen to your requests. I brought my mother here for rehab and it was useless. The maids came in to do pt for five mins then left every time. They didn’t even try. The maids were all all Haitian so I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing to have no manners. When we were leaving they didn’t offer to help and they didn’t even wish us goodbye. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Spare yourself the time and energy."
"This is very hard for me to write, being that my hopes for this place were very high. The hospital had them rated with 4 stars and I soon found the reality of things a week into my husband's stay. He went after surgery and was not moved or worked with for weeks into his stay. Unfortunately this made his oxygen lower to 87 and when I finally took action to take him to the hospital they said he had a high level of CO2 in his brain which made him very disoriented and unable to move. The problem with this scenario is that an oxygen machine was placed by his bed the whole month he was in this facility and never opened or used once. I have pictures of him and the state he was in that I would rather not share but if needed to prove for his negligence, would willingly show. Unfortunately, this place needs rehab itself and a complete turn around of staff starting with the director. Please don't send your loved one here."
"My father in law was sent to this facility after hip surgery and they should be ashamed to call themselves a rehab. The PT was out on maternity leave and the OT was in charge of every patient in the space. After a month of almost non existent movement, we had to discharge my father in law and take him directly to the hospital where they confirmed he was so de conditioned the process of learning to walk needed to be started from scratch. He is in a phenomenal rehab now which has accomplished in two days what this abysmal facility couldn’t do in a months time. please, send your loved one somewhere else if you know what’s best for them."
"If you or your family member are set up to go to rehab at this place RUN don't walk to another facility. I was just here for 6 weeks after a foot surgery for an infected foot and I do believe it was some of the WORST care I have EVER had in my life. They also dropped the ball BIG time in aftercare and much needed DME at home. PLEASE do not do this to yourself or your loved ones."
"48 hours after admission my brother does not have his breathing inhaler medication. When I called, the nurse and inquired, she said yes they have a weekend pharmacy and said I can call it for the medication if I want. I expressed concern that this will bring on pneumonia again if he doesn't open up his lungs and I asked if this concerned her. She talked over me the whole time and barely allowed me to speak. I also told her it was not my job to call their pharmacy. She said "we can send him back to the hospital if that is what you want." Being a nurse, I know how detrimental this is for my brother. As I attempted to sympathize with her as to what a hard job she has, she replied. "Yes, all we do is sit at the desk all day and yell at our patients" and then she actually hung up on me. I am appalled at the attitude, lack of caring and concern. I have worked in my places and never once did I allow my patient to not be cared and assist them to heal. Violation of Patient rights and abuse of weekend staff UPDATE: The weekday staff are wonderful, kind, caring and professional"
