"A great place to take your dog for a fairly short trek through the forest. Well marked paths, (about 1 mile for the loop) with a few off shooting paths. It's pretty quiet out there. Not a lot of traffic, and far removed from highways."
"Quiet park with a good loop trail and lots of old rock walls/property lines. My dog and I loved it!"
"Love this place. Trails are kept clean and relatively trash free. Always that one dog walker that bags their poop and leaves it.. but you can't fix stupid. Highly recommend this trail."
"They definitely need to maintain these trails better. Granted it's hiking so there are a ton of rocks and roots consistently throughout the trail. Bugs galore. Even with bug spray forget it. Thankfully I had a mosquito jacket. There's a few signs throughout, but definitely not enough. In fact they need to put a few more exit / parking lot signs.. ... If you don't know the trail even though it's small you can very easily get lost on some of the side trails..... This state forest needs to be much better marked throughout. I don't know if there's another parking lot or not, we parked on Peck Street. It's not really a parking lot at all it's just a little dirt road with a little turnaround at the end. I would not even call this place good for dogs unless you don't care that they're covered in ticks. Definitely is not little kid friendly..... Older kids yes. It's too bad they don't maintain the trails better."
"Both me and my mini poodle love this park! Great trails, even though some parts were a bit wet, but that's all part of being outdoors! They could use some more signage of where to go in the further areas, but that's what makes each time a little adventure!"
