"Please DO NOT send your loved ones to this place. The care is terrible. 1 nurse out of unit 2 knows what she is doing. When you tell them there is something wrong with someone and they tell you oh their fine. Then that person gets sent to er when another nurse shows up. Because their ammonia levels are 175, if it reaches it can KILL them."

"My mother has recently been transferred to Williamstown Commons from North Adams Hospital. She has 4 broken ribs from a fall and has been diagnosed with Covid. The protocol in the hospital was after 5 days without a fever or any other symptoms she was considered no longer contagious. The protocol at the nursing home is still apparently 10 days. As a result, we had to argue with them for her to be able to get a shower. They don't want to move her out of her room for 10 days. So for 10 days, she won't receive the physical therapy she went there for in the first place. They have been incredibly lax in providing her with all of the meds she is on and as a result, she needs to go through her meds every time to make sure she's getting what's been prescribed for her. Friday night they forgot to give her dinner!! How do you forget to provide a resident dinner?? She has some incontinence issues exacerbated by diet foods. Well, that's all that's available there and we will have to provide alternatives. She is absolutely miserable there and we, as her family are so disappointed in the level of care that she's receiving. There is a complete lack of empathy and compassion on the part of the staff and I would recommend everyone think twice before sending a loved one there! Especially at $13,000 a month!!"
