Although we do not provide treatment for active or primary substance use disorders, we acknowledge and address the complexities of co-occurring mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our relational, patient-centered care aims to uncover and address underlying issues, rather than merely treating symptoms.

In collaboration with the Erikson Institute for Education, Research, and Advocacy at the Austen Riggs Center, we are at the forefront of advancing mental health knowledge. We offer a postdoctoral fellowship in psychoanalysis for psychiatrists and psychologists, and our staff are actively engaged in clinical research and global education. We are proud to host a variety of events, including the 2024-25 Free, Virtual Friday Night Guest Lecture Series and a series of virtual roundtable discussions focused on mental health across the life cycle.
