"in conjunction with Middletown and Tiverton, my life was saved last Thursday by our EMT's /Patamedics. I am PROFOUNDLY GRATEFUL for their help and expertise. I would not have made it to the hospital without them! I am especially grateful that when being admitted to trauma unit at RI Hosp a wonderful Portsmouth EMT stayed at the hospital until I was stabilized!! What these men and women do every day is incomprehensible! They are dedicated and incredibly competent!!! I am forever in their debt and humbled to be a member of a community that has such dedicated professionals and obviously good leadership. I certainly hope our Town Council is aware of what these incredibly brave people do 24/7. THANK YOU PORTSMOUTH FIRE AND RESCUE FOR SAVING MY LIFE! . ."
