"My experience with the team at Woody Folsom started out great; they did everything they could to put a GMC Sierra in my driveway. However, they didn’t do anything to teach me the “in’s and out’s” of my new truck. So, when I put my trailer hitch on and opened the tailgate I learned the hard way there is a design flaw with the tailgate that allows the tailgate to bang into any hitch mounted into the 2” receiver. So, the hitch dented and scratched my two day old truck. When I called to express how irritated I was that they never gave me a heads up…and that it expected them to fix it, they said it was my fault and I was on my own. When I asked the salesman, “how is this my fault; you never told me about this defect?” He replied “these trucks are everywhere” and “you know not to bang your door into the car parked next to you; you should know not to do this.” Apparently the definition of “this” is put a hitch on your pickup and open the tailgate. Immediately after the sale I would have referred them to anyone based on how easy they made it to sell me a car. After the way they handled the situation, I would not recommend them. Ever! By not making it right they stepped over $100 (a referral) to pick up a penny (save on the repairs). I love the truck; but if you buy a Sierra with the Pro Tailgate and plan to tow anything, learn how to use the tailgate first."
