"For Context: Im 25 years old who lived alone and had a bad leg break that takes many months to be able to walk right again. The way I see it is care and consistency is most important and I’ll keep things honest. To get the bad out of the way the only reason it isn’t a five star is that all nursing homes require agency to fill in staff and the night shift considering some are temps will not be nearly as caring about your situation as they should be to be put frank. THAT BEING SAID. The administration is eager to hear about these specific individuals so they know to fire them and not have them back! All of the in house Care One staff along with 9/10 agency workers are amazing individuals who truly care and love what they do, there are a lot of passionate people here that love their jobs as well as the residents. The PT & OT are always kind and helpful to their patients and always do their best with everyone! Again, if ever there are any issues related to staffing the administration and management are garunteed to handle it because they not only care about their reputation but also the residency. "As an UPDATE: Yesterday I was happy to receive a call from Care One with the promise of payment for my April entertainment right away. Payment came as newly promised in the same day's mail. Apparently they had been experiencing a shift in management and my payment was one that slipped through the cracks. I am so glad this can be put into the past and tomorrow will be a new day. The facility seemed like a nice place to be for all. I'm not sure if I will be entertaining there anytime soon. However, I hope this has helped anyone who does going forward. OLD: I performed a one hour interactive show here in April . The place seemed clean, the staff was attentive and cheery, the residents that came to interact for their last day of Circus Week with me were happy to do so. However, we are now at the end of August and my invoice still has not been paid. This is an unfair practice and shows a great disrespect for people who they hire. I am so disappointed in the continued promises and at this point felt it necessary to let others know what they should expect if they choose to entertain for Care One Residential Locations."

"All staff from the door to visit my father in law were true gems. You could tell they genuinely care about your family members. They are very attentive and assure you have access to visit. They explain everything. I would hope to never need rehab but if I did I would hope to have a place as clean and caring."

"My grandmother was recently placed at Care one New Bedford for rehab after a fall. She will remain there in there long term care for her safety. First let me say how warm and welcoming this facility is the minute you walk in. I have been greeted by every employee with a smile and warm welcome. My son brought her dinner one night and the chef set up a table with a cloth table cloth and China so she would have a special meal with him. She is happy there, she has lived with my sister for 16 years and we were dreading the day she needed more full time care, but we could not be more pleased with the care she is receiving. I give this facility a strong “10”"

"My mother has been a patient at CareOne New Bedford for the last few weeks. She is slowly getting stronger thanks to the rehab department who she speaks very highly about. As a retired nurse who had a long career in this industry she has said that it has been a great experience. Everyone is respectful, kind, and very knowledgeable. The culinary department goes above and beyond to get her what she likes for meals and even snacks which is very important to her. I should also mention that they were able to offer her the Covid vaccine and are able to give her the second dose even if she is discharged prior to the date(we just have to bring her back). Thank you to everyone for making her experience a positive one. We as a family have tried to avoid hospitals and rehab through this whole pandemic. We had no choice and we are glad that CareOne was able to care for her. We feel safe and comfortable knowing that she is there being cared for."
