Reviews of Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park
"The Blackstone River Valley is a beautiful and very historic part of Rhode Island and Massachusetts! Slater Mill was awesome! Also visiting Blackstone River Valley Park in Ashton was cool. Going up to Whitinsville and Hopedale was also a really fun experience seeing all the history."
"Nice grounds - open Thurs-Sun and we went on a Wed so just walked around. Ranger Bob was very helpful!"
"My girls did the Junior Ranger badge here. There was a volunteer on site who was super friendly and helpful. There were two indoor bathrooms that were very well maintained and clean. There was a short historical video in the visitors center that was informative. It had gorgeous views of the dams and it was a nice walk around."
"A little bit boring, but nice and pretty. Would be a good place to read a book."
"Worth a stop if you’re in the area. There’s not a lot to it compared to som other NP sites, but it’s an interesting and quick stop to get information and maps to other highlights in the Blackstone River Valley. I spent about half a day or so driving the along the valley from point to point as outlined in the guide I picked up at the visitor center."
