Reviews
"The trail has some nice mildly rolling hills as well as enough trees to make it a nice place to walk and run. There's a "zero" mile marker that's been painted on the trail, which is in between the Chipley church of Christ and the veterinarian clinic, as well painted markers on the trail at a half mile, mile, mile and a half and two miles, as you walk or run southbound. Many folks (like me) park at the Chipley church of Christ, some park at Falling Waters Road and State Park Road, and some use the other end of the trail, down on 77 just south of I-10, next to the lake. It's nice not having to walk out on the road facing traffic; this trail does cross a few two-lane roads, but traffic is relatively light and I've never had any issues. I always feel safe, as well. An occasional barking dog as you cross over I-10, but I've never had any issues there. Did I mention how pretty this trail can be in some places? The only "catch" is that there are no restrooms for most of it, but on the other hand, it's paved, it has some nice shaded sections, is wide enough and open enough that I notice there are many women who feel safe enough to walk the trail in the afternoons. It's one of my favorite running trails. Been using it for over a year now."
