"This stone bridge is special. It is one of the earliest community funded bridges in the country and is a remarkable engineered structure. Driving over, the bridge is almost not noticeable. Stop and take a walk over the bridge, lean over the side and witness the construction and of the amount of water flowing underneath (especially during a falling tide or a Spring run-off). This bridge gets heavy use daily and it is amazing that it still carries it's weight after all these years!"
