Reviews
"Parking is easy and the distance to the launch is short. I've never liked launching my kayak from a dock, but what is lousy about this one is how high the dock is. Good luck climbing up on the dock in a kayak without falling out or taking in water. I fell out, but fortunately, it's not deep here and I was in swimming trunks and Crocs. I'd rather use the Ipswich River Watershed Association headquarters for a launch. That dock is lower and you might be able to launch from the shore instead of from a dock. As for the paddling itself, it's pretty good here. It's one of the more scenic parts of this river. The river might get shallower further upstrem though, so if it does, watch out for rapids and your kayak scraping rocks on the bottom."
"Nice and quiet place"
"Great place to park for kayaking, but the river access is very swampy. Once on the river, it's great!"
