"Lincoln's statue, I believe is lonely looking. With a touch of mellinkolly? Actually, a relative lived in the area . Joseph Lincoln. I can't remember they're relationship.I think Joseph was Abe's nephew. Which surprised me when I was painting in the area that a member of the Lincoln family lived in Hingham. Named the area "Lincoln Square ". Across from the statue is the oldest functional church in the United States. I was under the impression that John Adam's farm was from Quincy through Hingham. I'm going to have to take another look and tour. If available. I will be back next week, with new pictures and information about Lincoln Square and statue. Until then, be good to urself"
