"Initially I had no problems with this facility, but upon my recent visit to my unit i discovered mice droppings on my belongings as well as mold spots on a chair I have stored here. I understand that there is the possibility for flooding, but we were not given any notification that this had occurred or that there was a mouse infestation. I will be pulling my belongings out of here ASAP."

"Warning - do NOT rent here. They lure you in with reasonable rates and friendly service, but look out. Their lease agreement for a MONTH-TO-MONTH rental isn't multiple pages for nothing. You are signing your rights away on Prime being responsible for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. No company has you sign a lease saying they can raise your rates as much and often as they like unless they do. And THEY DO. You'll be paying double within three months, they'll increase it repeatedly after that every 2-3 months. Then they'll charge you for insurance which they provide you no information on and literally covers nothing. They brag on their website about being "climate controlled," but the fine print in their contract makes it clear that Massachusetts has no definition for climate control, and it doesn't mean your items are protected from mold, mildew, or water damage. And the insurance policy they charge you for doesn't cover that, either. And when you move out, your items will be destroyed from mold, mildew, and rodents chewing through your upholstery and rugs. Don't bother complaining - they'll just tell you to read your lease. This is PRIME's business model. Go anywhere else, or just throw your stuff out, because that's what you'll have to do when you move out of the Shetland location. The only difference is you won't have paid them thousands of dollars first."

"I found Prime Storage because it's close to me, but it was my first time needing storage. The young man at the Malden location was super friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. Thank you! The facility is great with clean units. Patty, the GM, was extremely helpful and made the check-in and check-out process easy. Definitely would use them again for my storage needs. One of the best customer service experiences I've had. I was stressed about the situation, and he went above and beyond to help me get what I needed. I would happily rent here again.
