"The only thing consistent about this location is the utter lack of enthusiasm to troubleshoot anything for the customer. I have never seen so many burnt out clerks counting the seconds to retirement. I started going to the Abington location and the change for good is drastic. Rockland USPS *do better* The whole experience from start to finish is miserably hostile. There is no need."

"Well I had my first Christmas with returns! I was completely dreading going through the process of mailing things back. Some of my items were not free to return so now I had to pay $20 for not keeping items! So this I found a little frustrating, but made my way to the post office. I had received 3 items but with 2 different shipments. I wasn’t sure how this worked. Jose was working and immediately walked me through the whole process. I came with only 1 box and he informed me I needed to return in 2 boxes. I figured I would be now buying a box and spending $20 for the return. Nope! Jose said I actually have a box here you can use and I can also offer you some tape that someone had left behind. He demonstrated how to fold the labels on their pouches and did all of this with a super friendly disposition!! I know if he wasn’t working, I would have probably drove home to get a “free” box and tape and returned. Thank you Jose for your help! You do your job with such kindness and it is much appreciated!!"

"Absolutely rude. I needed a package for a gift and it was at the post office. I have never had an issue going to the post office to get a package I needed. Some woman working the window was beyond rude and told me they can't do it. I've never had an issue before. I told her it was a gift. Finally the guy comes back and tells me he can't find it when the tracking clearly states its there. I will not be having my packages held at the rockland post office ever again."

"I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received from Cheryl ! I had addressed a package incorrectly and due to my own error the person on the receiving end was greatly inconvenienced. She took an enormous amount of time calling the receiving post office trying to locate this package. She was able to multi-task by continuing to service the customers in line , but still servicing me at the same time . She's obviously a seasoned professional and I so appreciate her help-she really went "over and above" the call of duty!"

"The customer service was extremely rude and gave me some ignorant speech on how my name needs to be on my mailbox in order for me to receive my mail. I do not live in an apartment complex my mailbox is accessible by the street just like everyone else's who only has numbers on their mailboxes. After telling me they already sent my package back, I get flustered. So at this point the lady decides to go in back talking to another employee how I'm clearly upset and she doesn't want to deal with me. She then comes out from the back with my package that she claimed they had already sent back and says to me "you're lucky we're even giving this to you right now. If you want your mail delivered put your name on the mailbox". Mind you there were a few people behind me in line witnessing this also commenting how ridiculous it is that they are treating me the way they are treating me. Saying how not a single one of them has their name on their mailbox either. All in all I feel it was very rude and unnecessary experience. Also saying things like we're lucky you're even getting this only leads me to believe that that is a threat to withhold my mail from me while I am standing right there with multiple forms valid identification. In retrospect I should have taken the lady's name and reported her because she should be fired. No one should have to deal with somebody like that at 9 o'clock in the morning on a Saturday."
