"Perfect last minute kayaking trip find! Staff was helpful and got us to the stop in point with no problems. Had both sit in and sit in options! Started in the stream and ended in the river. Luckily, they also told us about the materials on the water laws before leaving our truck so we could repack. It was great to be at the truck the moment we got out of the water. Even took a picture for us to end the day We will be back to do the longer trek soon!"

"My son in law, 12 year old grandson and I rented kayaks this morning and had a great time. Was warmly greeted, and the check-in, kayak selection, paddle, life vest issue was easy. We went down and parked by the river, put the cell phones and wallets in our truck, then hopped into their pickup for the short drive up river. We put in at the base of the dam and had a fun float downstream. We didn’t hop out to swim, but paddled straight thru. Next time we will take our time! The water was wonderful, being cool but not cold. Good thing we all wore hats, because we were in the sun most of the trip. The creek and river were flowing at about 2 mph or so, and we mostly drifted, using our paddles to stay in the main channel. Would we do this again? Absolutely!!"

They greet us personally when we arrive, and when we exit the river. They are happy to share local tips and other places to enjoy the beauty of Marianna. It's so clear that they run this business because they want to share their unique and beautiful riverside property, not simply to pump people through their corporation for a quick buck. "Go Here. This place is hands down friendlier, less expensive, with no long hot walks back and forth to the car (if you've been to Bear Paw you know what I mean), and they have the same equipment. After my float I had a great conversation with the owner about the river and good future canoeing trips and wish I would have had more time to hang out by the river and talk. I'll be going back and recommend these folks over my experience with the competition."
