"Convenient but prices are high. Seems like they take advantage of being the only grocery store within so many miles. If the prices were more reasonable I would make this place my go to for everything, but it's just not in my budget."

"This grocery is ok for a small local grocery store. It would be nice to have more variety to choose from. You need to check your dates on dairy products. There have been times we have bought items such as yogurt and it expired the 2 weeks before we bought it. There are also times that you go in and there will only be person trying to run the store and register which creates a long check out time"

"I worked at the grocery store for about two months. In that time was trained as a stocker, cashier, and bag boy, often working all 3 roles during the same shift and coming in whenever people called off last minute. I am also a college student at the local college. I don't have a car so I had to walk to and from work. There were never any complaints about me from customers, and I never once complained about any of the duties, "favors", or extra work I was asked to do. I was removed from all scheduled working hours for the last 2 weeks, the management told me i was not fired but never called me to disclose any more information when i asked. I left a job to work for this company, management knew that, now leaving me without any working hours and without any information on if they plan on putting me on the schedule. It is a very unprofessional move by management, and the owners. I was working anywhere from 12-30 hours a week before they suddenly scheduled me for none. After being scheduled for 0 hours I reached out to management and they said “bear with me, sales are low so we had to cut hours.” After receiving 0 hours for the second week straight I reached out to management about keeping me informed on this situation, where they said “you had 90 days and it didn't workout”. It really seems like a scheme to get new hires regularly so they don’t have to schedule people for hours regularly due to their lack of sales and their low wage rate of $8-8.50 a hour. I have never worked anywhere else that has done something like this, and it appears that they do this to employees often just to get cheap work by getting new hires every month and a half. I have seen other employees lose their jobs, incomes, a way to support their families, and their sense of stability due to unprofessional management of this company at this location. You would think they would at least reach out about why they would do something lien this, but they have not."

"I went back in to check the produce, and meats.(it's what I do) I will have to say the 2 ladies running register were the most welcoming, so sweet from the moment I walked in to cashing out. Also seems a bit more produce in, but definitely room for improvement. It's so expensive we all would like to see it last more than a day. The meat had the best deals of all. I do see improvement is well on it's way, especially since my last review. though wasn't expecting to be called out in such a negative manner by the owner."
