"I did 3.7 miles in 1 hour and 35 minutes. One of the best trails that I've hiked so far. Nice wide, well marked trails that meander through the forest and along Fish Brook Reservoir. It's such a peaceful place with the birds chirping. I ran into several dogs, all were very friendly. There's two areas that bring you to a street, which you have to walk down to continue the trail a short distance away. Only a couple of muddy areas but easily maneuverable. There's several bridges to cross and a few waterfalls to see. I saw a red squirrel, a blue heron, a couple of turtles and lots of frogs. And to top it off, there are a couple of Porta Potties and a large play area with plenty of parkng. I highly recommend this trail."
"It's a small park, but very quickly you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The trees are nice and tall, and you can hear the stream as you walk. We had a really nice picnic!"
"Lots of water views and flowing streams; well marked trails that join into other local forests to make for a reasonably large hiking area"
"A nice little spot to get out for a quick walk with the dogs. The immediate grounds are not too extensive, but there were other trails leading off the grounds that may go much further, we didn't go out that way. There's some nice swimming spots for dogs, great for a summer cool down. We went out on a cold day, and still ran into quite a few people out there with their dogs. It may not be the best spot if you're looking for something secluded, but people were friendly for the most part. Trails are marked with a map at the entrance, but there's zero markings past that, so it could be easy to get turned around if you don't pay attention (personally I take a picture of the map and refer to it as I walk to keep an idea of where we are). This place is also clearly used by horse riders, as there are jumps and other tell-tale signs throughout. I would say this place is worth checking out if you're local, and need somewhere to get your pup out for a quick walk. I wouldn't recommend travelling any distance to go here, as there really wasn't much in the way of originality, just trails. A little upkeep would be helpful too, as the leaves have piled up and it's a little harder to follow trails, though it's doable if you pay attention. Altogether it's not our favorite spot to get out, but it's a nice option if we're driving by and looking to do something different."
"Such a great area to take the dog, walk, get good exercise. It's beautiful in the forest and great paths."
