King Honda

"I bought a new 2020 Pilot Touring here, and have not stopped having issues since I hit around 600 miles on the odometer. I have been in the shop for repairs around 20 or so times with no end in sight for my problems. I traded in a great working car for a terrible and dangerous Pilot. I've had problems with the radio and emergency braking for over 3 years. This car is a safety hazard. It slams on the brakes while travelling at 45+ mph. This has been the worst car and service experience that I've ever had. I have been through 3 service managers, and each time it was like starting over having to explain all of the issues and work out a deal/ arguing who is responsible to get them fixed. Look for my youtube videos for a few (but not all) of the issues that you might expect if you buy a Honda and deal with this company. Just search "Honda Pilot Dangerous Defects" on youtube to find my videos. Update 1/8/2023: The last service was to replace the floor wire harness, now I have additional problems. The car was in the shop from December 29 to Jan 6 this time. Honda corporate has told me multiple times that King Honda service can claim that the car is unrepairable and they will buy it back. King Honda's service manager tells me that they can't do that."

"Typical car buying experience, however they do move faster with paperwork than most dealerships I’ve experienced. Cameron (sales guy) very nice to work with, understanding of needs and helped answer all our questions. Reed (manager) very helpful getting our paperwork mailed correctly after Mary (finance/titling) mailed it to the wrong address and never verified the out of state address before mailing our paperwork with all our information in it. If you go here be ready to double check behind them on where they send your paperwork if you are from out of state."

"Whatever you do, do no use King Honda's mechanical shop. I was very disappointed in the service I did not get. They not only have inferior mechanics, but nobody will answer the phone if your calling about your car. They don't return calls either. And on the rare occasions you get someone to answer your call, you will get an answer like this, "I don't see your car listed, call back tomorrow". My Honda Fit that I bought from there is still not fixed."

"I sold my truck to them. We agreed on a price. They have my payoff amount directly from my lender. David, the owner’s son, is apparently confused with what is policy and what is not. I have a bill of sale, but they are claiming it will take up to three weeks to receive the title and then send me a check. You have the power of attorneys, you have a copy of my ID, you have the bill of sale that you generated for this transaction, and you have my payoff amount. What could possibly take three weeks for a check to be generated? This looks like fraud to me."

"Took a test drive and the sales person said he need to stop by his doctors office and pick up some paperwork. He said it would only take him a second to run in, however, 45 minutes later as we are backing out to take the car back to the dealership he comes out. He had had blood drawn as he was bandaged up. When he got back in the car he asked how we liked it? I said well it parks good and he said yes it does, not getting my sarcasm. As soon as we pulled up at the dealership we ran to our vehicle and left. Bought a car later that day in Columbus."
