Boston Harbor Beach

Welcome to Boston Harbor Beach, a serene oasis nestled within the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts. Located at 1530 Columbia Road, our park is part of a vast network of green spaces managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout Boston.

Boston Harbor Beach offers a perfect escape for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. Our department oversees 217 city parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields, along with numerous squares, fountains, and game courts. We are proud to be part of the historic Emerald Necklace, a 1,000-acre chain of nine parks linked by scenic parkways and waterways.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted by holding our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings online to ensure the safety and health of our community.

This summer, immerse yourself in outdoor fun with our complete schedule of free events and activities for all ages. Enjoy family-favorite movies in your neighborhood parks or groove to the rhythms of the six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series returning to Boston parks in July and August.
