American Airlines - BOS

"The staff and attendants were really nice and helpful. The only issue I have is the way they treat our bags (to be fair, most airlines tossed them around). I have a heavy-duty, sturdy case that was damaged to an extent. It makes me wonder how hard they had to toss it in order to turn out this way, especially when this case was inside a suitcase."

"That 1 star is pushing it, it should be Zero stars. Dec-27th-2022, I went online to check in for my AA Flight Number 9204 I was redirected to Jet Blue to check-in. The Free checked bag option wasn't available along with no preferred seating. When I joined American Airlines Advantage membership, I was offered free checked bags and preferred seating for up to 4 passengers when I qualified for a Citi BANK AA Advantage credit card. I call American Airlines customer service and talked to a supervisor named James, explaining to him my problem with the checked bags and preferred seating. James told me that American Airlines was not a credit card company and he could not honor the free checked bags or preferred seating and I would have to call Citi bank credit card customer service."

"The flight was excellent. The service on board was really good and the flight was onetime. The only issue was with the check-in process where one of the agents was not going to let our grandson onto the flight because his passport was worn. It still scanned, but she actually removed him from the passenger list without telling anyone. After making a stink about it, one supervisor did let him get on the flight, but it was such a hassle that did not need to take place."

"Started boarding right on time, large overhead bins for suitcases, took off for a fairly smooth flight until we ran into a few rain clouds, flight attendants were professional yet friendly, and best of all arrived almost 30 minutes early. Knock on wood, all went really well."

"We traveled from San Francisco to Miami then on to Quito. The good - our flights arrived on time and little turbulence. That is important - plus our bags arrived. The bad - no food service - a coke and a cookie for 5 1/2 hour flight to Miami and the same for 4 hour flight to Quito. Fortunately we went to Trader Joes and packed up on all sorts of goodies. But arrived at our destination at 10 am hungry and starving. Maybe an entrepreneur can be a food vendor on American flights and sell stuff like poke, samozas, fried chicken, and lumpia - cause American sure isn't willing to od it. Plus bring a good book or a crossword puzzle because the inflight entertainment on your device will not be working."
