Reviews
"Nice park. Parking is hazardous, as there are no official on-street spots - but people park on-street despite that. No shade at all."
"I never leave reviews but this place is awful. Brought my two small breeds twice this past month and i will never come back. First time i got here i spent 20 minutes picking up massive piles of other dogs’ feces that were left everywhere. Came back a week later and the park was yet again full of feces and cigarette butts. Two off leash German Sheppards and their owners were behind the park right next to the fence. My chihuahua went to sniff one of the Sheppards through the fence and the Sheppard went from friendly to vicious in seconds. Despite the fence between them i was terrified for my dog’s safety so i scooped him up and backed away from the fence several feet. The owners didn’t even apologize or reprimand the dog and as i was staring at the dogs in terror trying to figure out what just happened, the woman then shouted “is there a problem”. I was so shocked i just left. What an unsafe dump."
"I brought my Akita there when she was almost a year old, and I was really hoping that it was going to be a fun time for her. Another woman was coming into the area for the large dogs with her beagle, someone had told me her dog was aggressive so I asked her to please wait for me to put mine on her lead instead she let her dog into the area and it attacked my Akita grabbing her by the throat and the lady wouldn't stop her dog. I don't think you should be allowed to have your dog in the park if they are aggressive or if you can't control them, since then I will only take my dogs there when the park is empty. And I agree with the other person they have so many poop bags for FREE and trash barrels is it that hard to pick up after your dog goes, I can hardly move my leg half the time but I still pick up after my dogs. Hopefully they can make something work."
"Dogs had fun. Seemed fairly clean..the small dog area had a lot of poop. It's just not great with irresponsible dog owners. Love dogs, people eh. Decent spot to let your dog sniff and do their thing."
"It’s a good start. I’m grateful to have a public dog park, for sure. But there really needs to be more shade/shelter. A designated parking area would also be nice."
