"Generations of my family are buried in this cemetery. I've been helping with the maintenance and visiting these loved ones for more than 50 years. Disappointed in the decline in general maintenance/safety of the cemetery. It's devastating that your loved ones monument is covered in animal waste, or run over by carelessness during maintenance, or covered by branches/leaves so deep the monument is obscured. Slippery leaves make it unsafe to reach the graveside. This cemetery used to be taken care of! What changed?"
"We met with Gerald M. Ridge , Jr. President. He was the most rude, person we ever met in our grieving time. Not one condolence on our loss, obviously he can act this way because he is a family member.He did not give us any advice of what we should do. I have spoken to other Bronze Markers who have said I was the second person to say this about him and Blue Hills. My purchase will be cancelled, and I will go some where that treats us with respect, he kept looking at his watch, he should not be in this business when people need compassion, I have heard people that work there were not surprised at his conduct. What a shame when your family is grieving and to be treated like this. Donna Katapodis"
"I met the worker for the summer Tom Hammel I believe he said his name was. Absolutely incredible person. Helped me find my grandmothers grave and weed whacked it right in front of me and made sure it was done well. Of course it was done well they have the most beautiful service of all time. I cant say much more, it’s a must see cemetery. There is new openings soon, get them while they last."
"Welp, theres really not much to say. The first step I took into the Blue Hill Cemetery absolutely changed my life. The perfect, simplistic, and glorious landscaping brings complete and utter joy to the eye. The flowers are always in top tier condition and I have noticed that all the workers have a great ethical compass to ensure the advancement within the environment of the Cemetery. I have never felt not welcomed, and I really do believe this is the greatest Cemetery around. I love BHC."
"Blue Hill Cemetery is a must see historical landmark in the town of Braintree. Beautifully maintained grounds make for an unbelievable visual experience. Both of my grandparents are memorialized in this cemetery and the manager was very compassionate and understanding during our families difficult time."
