Spanning over 2,300 acres of parkland, our department is responsible for 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and much more. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll among our 125,000 trees, an adventurous day at one of our 75 game courts, or a family outing at our playgrounds, Lincoln Square and its surrounding areas have something for everyone.
