Chelsea City Clerk

"On December 29, 2021 I went to the clerk's office to go get a paper notarized which was an exemption form for my grandson. The notary I DON'T HAVE TO SIGN IT! It was an exemption document for taking the covid vaccine because of religious reasons. I just want to know does a public servant have the right to impose their personal opinion and refuse to serve the public because of their personal opinion? It was for personal opinion! Because I asked her does Chelsea,, MA CITY HALL have a ruling or city law or ordinance that forbids a clerk to service a person who was against the covid vaccine (with your course I could understand the clerk following City Hall rules).... But the older white lady who was the notary said, "I" not city hall, BUT I DON'T HAVE TO SIGN ANYTHING! WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THIS IS NOT ABOUT COVID,B PROBABLY ABOUT RACE . MANY PEOPLE DON'T LIKE IT WHEN THE DEMOGRAPHICS CHANGE. FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT THEY'RE USED TO WITH ONLY WHITE PEOPLE. AND THEY THEIR POSITION THINKING THAT WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE NO ONE IN OFFICE WILL LISTEN TO US AS A PEOPLE OF COLOR!"

"If there’s Zero Start I could have given them. They are all rude and no one is telling his colleague to be respectful to the customers. One of the lady was super rude and she couldn’t help me and the people before me so when I step in the line I truly try to be calm and respectful but honestly I couldn’t help anymore. She was acting like if I was a beggar. I requested a manager but he was even worse cause he didn’t even wanna come and help."
