About Us

Welcome to Ringgold Park
Nestled in the heart of Boston at 10 Ringgold Street, Ringgold Park offers a serene escape from the bustling city life. As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout Boston.
Our commitment extends to 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and a host of other recreational spaces, including two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, 75 game courts, and the historic Emerald Necklace. We are also responsible for maintaining the urban wilds, high school athletic fields, and approximately 125,000 trees that beautify our city.
Ringgold Park is a testament to our mission, offering a peaceful oasis for relaxation and recreation. Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, a family picnic, or simply a moment of tranquility amidst nature, Ringgold Park is your perfect destination.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are being conducted online to ensure public safety. We invite you to explore our extensive schedule of free events and activities, including family-favorite movies in neighborhood parks and the vibrant Tito Puente Latin Music Series concerts held every summer.
For those seeking unique experiences, the Alianza traveling beer garden, a collaboration with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, brings a delightful fusion of craft beer and local flavors to the city's parks.
Discover the beauty and diversity of Boston's green spaces with us. Visit Ringgold Park and be part of a community that cherishes and celebrates the natural beauty of our city.

"Small playground tucked away in south end. Park has a water fountain, a basketball court, playground for small kids and a separate one for 5-12 year olds. As mentioned, the playground/park is small. Hence everything is a little bit smaller. It is a good spot to enjoy an outdoor coffee break. Parking is tricky since everywhere is residential parking except some spars visitor parking here and there."
