About the Business
Welcome to Statler Park, a serene oasis nestled in the heart of Boston at 243 Stuart Street. As a cherished local treasure and tourist attraction, Statler Park is part of Boston's extensive network of over 2,300 acres of pristine parkland. Our commitment is to create and maintain clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces that enhance the quality of life for all.
Managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Statler Park is one of the 217 city parks that contribute to Boston's vibrant outdoor life. Our department oversees an impressive array of recreational facilities, including playgrounds, athletic fields, golf courses, historic cemeteries, and more, all designed to foster community engagement and enjoyment.
In addition to providing a relaxing escape, Statler Park is part of Boston's historic Emerald Necklace, a 1,000-acre chain of nine parks linked by parkways and waterways, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and urban convenience. Our efforts extend beyond the parks, as we also care for over 35,000 street trees, ensuring a lush and healthy urban environment.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of free events and activities suitable for all ages. Enjoy family-friendly movie nights in neighborhood parks, or immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of the six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series in July and August. For those seeking outdoor fun this summer, explore our full schedule of events designed to bring communities together.
In collaboration with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, we're excited to introduce Alianza, a pioneering traveling beer garden experience in partnership with the City of Boston. This unique initiative brings the community together in celebration of local culture and innovation.
Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online. Should you wish to remove a healthy tree, a public hearing is required.
Statler Park invites you to experience the natural beauty and vibrant community life that makes Boston's parks truly special. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, we welcome you to explore and enjoy all that our parks have to offer.

Reviews
"A nice little park to sit and relax. The park was quiet and relaxing. It was not to busy on a Saturday afternoon/evening. A nice respite just across from our hotel. If the fountain would have been on I would have given it 5 Stars. Clean and serene within the hustle and bustle!"
"A small oasis in the middle of a commercial district this park has a number of benches and an art deco fountain. Good for a rest or if you are waiting for a table for one of the nearby restaurants."
"Nice little patch of green with lots of bench seating space and a pretty fountain. Still pretty loud though - near too many big streets."
