"Where the expression "New England" takes on its full meaning This absolutely charming neighborhood that you can explore on foot has such a taste of England that you start looking for Hugh Grant on a street corner. The perfectly flowered Victorian houses, the bow windows, the calm of the streets, everything exudes rich but democratic families, class and WASP discretion. Not to be missed"
"Beautiful architecture associated with History… It is a small neighborhood in the Boston city, hardly 1 Km from Boston Commons. It is located on a small hill and seems picture perfect like movies. The tree-lined streets include eclectic boutiques, antique shops, and eateries. There are many antique/souvenirs shops and cafes in this neighborhood, with old-style brick houses in the straight lines leading up to the hill, makes everything mesmerizing We walked down Commonwealth Street which is designed like the streets of Paris. Absolutely gorgeous. While wandering through the area, it is easy to get a sense of how life may have been a couple hundred years ago. Boston commons- State house- chapel -beacon Hill, everything is near to each other, so wear comfortable shoes, or you can take the bike for few bucks. A recommendation is to explore this area by foot."
