Hiscock Park

Welcome to Hiscock Park, a vibrant green oasis located at 168 West Newton Street, Boston, Massachusetts. As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout the city. Hiscock Park is one of the 217 city parks under our care, contributing to the lush urban landscape that includes playgrounds, athletic fields, golf courses, historic cemeteries, and urban wilds.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors by providing well-maintained parks and recreational facilities. We are committed to preserving natural beauty while offering a wide array of activities for all ages. Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently held online. If you are considering the removal of a healthy tree, a public hearing is required.
