About Us

Welcome to Braddock Park, your gateway to Boston's lush and vibrant open spaces! Nestled at 27P Braddock Park, Boston, Massachusetts 02116, our park is part of a vast network overseen by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, dedicated to maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout the city.
Braddock Park is your local connection to a world of outdoor adventures and community events. Our department manages an impressive array of facilities, including 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, two golf courses, and much more. In addition, we care for approximately 125,000 trees across the city, including more than 35,000 street trees, ensuring Boston remains a beautiful and verdant urban oasis.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we've adapted by holding Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings online, making it easier than ever to stay engaged with our community initiatives.
This summer, enjoy free family-favorite movies in neighborhood parks and don't miss the return of the six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series in July and August. For a complete schedule of free events and activities for all ages, check out the Boston Parks and Recreation Department's offerings.
Additionally, we're excited to announce the Alianza traveling beer garden, a unique partnership between Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, bringing refreshing experiences to our parks.
Whether you're exploring the historic Emerald Necklace or enjoying a leisurely day at Braddock Park, we invite you to discover the beauty and vibrancy of Boston's green spaces. Join us in celebrating nature, community, and the joy of the outdoors!
