"Best park I’ve found yet for people like me who are a little uneven in balance sometimes or who need to roll instead of walk (wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, etc). The paving is new and even. There are picnic tables, benches, and fun play areas (a boardwalk onto the water, a massive set of chimes, and a tower you can climb and lookout). Parking is FREE and it’s massive. People tend to leash their dogs (thank you to those who do). Bikers don’t zoom by like they’d run someone over if you didn’t jump out of the way. Everyone seems to respect the shared space (well, except the geese. They do poop all over the one area near the dock, but that’s geese for you, and it’s only one area). You can choose your own adventure as far as length, because the paths all connect! There’s a lot to see and many comfy spaces to lounge. In the summertime, there are even two portable toilets, and one is fully accessible!!! Love this place!!!"
"A peaceful green area besides the Mystic River is worth a visit for walks, jogs, exercise, picnics etc. But the stink at some places is repulsive"
"The area has improved a lot lately. New paving. Small sitting area. Another separate sitting area. Increased maintenance of the grounds as well. Looking up!"
